What We Do
Since children, our founders have had an underlying passion in helping those who need it, whether through volunteering and organizing charity events, or donating and giving back to the local community.
Well now, we are trying to pioneer the educational space, and the idea around ‘extra education,’ known as tuition. Tuition is extra learning outside the classroom, whether this is biology, physical education or even learning a new language, these are all forms of learning from a tutor. Yet it has become expensive. Extremely expensive. According to a 2024 report by The Sutton Trust, the average cost of a private tutor is now £36 per hour, with some charging over £50 in major cities. In fact, one in four secondary school pupils received private tuition in the last year, often because parents feel it's essential for exam success, despite the high cost.
At tuitioneers, we believe no student should be priced out of opportunity. That’s why we offer GCSE online tuition in our classes at just £8 for 2 weeks, starting September 10th in our sciences. Our mission is simple: close the educational gap by making educational support accessible to all, not just the ones who may be able to afford it.
Our small online classes (with no more than 8 students) are led by passionate tutors who are dedicated to helping pupils grow in confidence and achieve their best. Whether your child needs help catching up, preparing for exams, or just wants that extra push, we’re here to support them every step of the way.
But what makes Tuitioneers truly special? We give back. All of the money we receive goes straight back into funding more sessions and helping students in under-resourced communities, as well as being donated towards other suitable charities. There’s no hidden agenda - just a mission to make learning fairer for everyone.
By choosing Tuitioneers, you’re not just investing in your child’s future - you’re also helping another child, wherever they may be, access life-changing education.
